Buta Biberaj

Buta is a Founding Partner of Cerulean Law Group, PC. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, and New York and is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Her deep commitment to community service is reflected in her extensive involvement across Northern Virginia. She serves as a mentor for the Leadership in Law program; participates as a defense attorney, prosecutor, and judge in mock trials for the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy; and regularly speaks to Loudoun County Public Schools students on Law Day. She also serves on the Board of Directors for A Advantage 4 Kids, Inc., a nonprofit supporting children and families throughout Northern Virginia.

As a long-standing member of the Loudoun County Bar Association, Buta served as President during the 2014–2015 term and founded the “Street Law” program, which connected local attorneys with students at the Historic Douglass School in Leesburg to educate them about juvenile rights in employment, criminal law, and civil matters.

Buta’s legal career includes more than a decade of judicial service as a Substitute Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Virginia (2006–2017) and as the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Loudoun County from 2020 to 2023.

She has earned recognition for her skill, experience, and results, including being named one of the Top 100 Trial Attorneys in Virginia, the American Association of Trial Attorneys’ 2019 Litigator of the Year in Criminal Law, and one of the Top 100 DUI Attorneys in Virginia.
